WBPSC WBFS / WBSFS Forest Service Selection Process
As per the information process in this exam, two papers will be held like as the Preliminary and Main exam. After passing both the exams applicants will go for Personality Test. In the Preliminary Examination, only Multiple Choice questions will be available. While in Main Examination will be the Conventional Type-Written exam. After passing the pre-exam only passed candidates will go for the Main examination. And after the main exam, qualified candidates will go for the Personality Test and Medical test.

Main exam Syllabus –
This exam will be Descriptive Type and questions will be asked from the following subjects. Total 900 Marks will carry this exam and this is the mandatory exam to qualify for the next round.

Walking Test
After passing the pre and main exam applicants will go through the Walking test. All the male candidates need to pass away 25 Kilometers in 4 Hours on Foot while female applicants have to pass away 16 Kilometers in 4 hours on Foot.
