What documents are required for IBPS Interview & Joining Time?
- ID Proof
- Caste Certificate
- PWD Certificate
- Computer Literacy Certificate
- Date of Birth Proof
- Education Documents
- Passport size Photographs

ID Proof : – Candidates must carry the PAN card/ Aadhar card/ Driver’s License, Voter`s ID/ Passport
Birth Certificate: For the Birth Date certificate verification, candidates must carry the 10th Board Marksheet at the interview time.
Academic qualifications: The candidates who are going to appear for the Interview, they must carry the Class 10th & Class 12th marksheets, Semester-wise & consolidated marksheets of degree (Under Graduate & Post Graduate) final certificate. The date of passing the degree exam mentioned on degree marksheet or provisional certificate will be considered to check your eligibility condition.
Computer certificate: This is required only for clerical positions.
- Aspirants should have studied computer science or IT as a subject in high school/ college OR
- Aspirants should have completed any course in computer operations/ language/RSCIT Course Certificate
Character Certificate: 2 character certificates, either from a Gazetted Officer or from an Officer in a nationalized bank not below the rank of Assistant General Manager not related to the candidates.
Caste Certificates Required for IBPS Bank Exam
OBC Category and SC/ ST category aspirants must submit their caste certificate released by appropriate authority (as per government format).
Those belonging to OBC category (non-creamy layer) – certificate must specifically contain a clause that the aspirants does not belong to OBC creamy layer section.
PH Aspirants: the candidates who belong to the physically handicapped category, they should submit their Disability certificate in proper format issued by district medical board.
Ex-Servicemen: Candidates must submit their Discharge letter along with pension payment order & proof of last held Rank.
Relieving Letter from the Previous Employer
If the candidates are presently in the service of the government or PSUs/Corporation of similar nature, they will have to resign from your present jobs and submit a satisfactory discharge certificate at the time of joining the Bank.
