The Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) is a state board test held by the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education to select qualified teachers to both private and public schools in the state. HPTET exams are held twice a year, in June and November. Candidates can become eligible for TGT, JBT, and LT positions by passing the HPTET 2023 test.
On April 2023, the HPTET 2023 June exam notice was issued. On May, 2023, the HP TET 2023 Application Form will be available. The deadline to submit an application for the HP TET is June, 2023. On February 2, 2023, the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education in Dharamshala issued the TET result. Due to the COVID-19 scenario, the November session test was held in December for the year 2020, and the June term test was held in August.

HP TET Eligibility Criteria
Before enrolling for HPTET 2023, all candidates must confirm that they fulfill the exam’s eligibility requirements. The following are the HPTET eligibility requirements:
Age limit :
There is no maximum age limit for taking the HPTET. According to R&P guidelines, the age qualification is determined by the appointing authority at the time of appointment.
Educational Qualification :
The HPTET 2023 test is held for eight different streams, including Shastri TET, Language Teacher (English/Hindi/Urdu), JBT, TGT (Medical/Non-Medical/Arts), and others. Selection procedure for HP TET 2023
The HPTET test, which is administered by the Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, is used to select candidates. Candidates who pass the test are awarded the HP TET certificate, which allows them to apply for teaching positions in Himachal Pradesh schools.
Application fee and Mode of payment for HP TET

Exam Pattern for HP TET 2023
- The Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2023 is a paper-based, offline test with objective-style questions.
- There will be a total of 150 questions on the exam paper, which must be completed in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- When it comes to the HPTET 2023 exam’s marking method, an apprentice will receive a +1 mark for each correct answer. Any inaccurate response, however, will not result in a deduction of marks.
- A participant must get a minimum aggregate score of 60% in order to pass the exam.

How to fill application form for HP TET 2023
Students who want to work as a teacher in a government or private school in Himachal Pradesh can apply online for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HPTET) 2023. From May, 2023, the application forms for the June session will be accessible on the official website.
- Visit the official website of HP TET 2023 i.e. https://hpbose.org/
- Under the ‘CET/Vacancies’ menu, select the ‘TET (June-2023)’ option.
- Select the ‘Register’ option from the drop-down menu.
- Fill in all of your personal information and other data accurately.
- After you’ve completed the form, submit scanned pictures of crucial documents, such as your signature and photograph.
- Now you must pay the required money and submit your application.
- Take a printout of your completed application form and save it somewhere secure for future use.
